95. It is better to discard a risky shot or tactic that is getting you out than to try and hit your way into form with it.

When to adjust your bowling length

This is a guest article by Laurie Ward from The Complete Cricketer Academy in Cape Town, South Africa.

Different conditions and match situations require different lengths of bowling.

To be a good bowler you need to know when to make a change to your length, and how to make it.

What makes the best cricketers so good?

You have probably never heard of Terryn Fray.

But those who have call him a rare talent with a sparkling future before him. At 18 he captained Bermuda Under-19's and has made his debut for the full Bermuda team in both one day and first-class cricket.

Cricket Basic Number 94 (Batting): Have Methods for Concentrating

94. A batsman should have a good way of relaxing between balls – relaxing his concentration and resting his focus to get ready again to concentrate. The relaxation method should keep the player mentally fresh and resolved to stay in all day without throwing away his wicket. Each ball should be a cycle between relaxation and routine-based concentration.
