The Southland Cricket Association is seeking a dynamic, energetic & self motivated Manager to provide leadership and realise opportunities for future development of the sport, at all levels, across Southland.

As Manager you will have full responsibility for the leadership & efficient running of SCA which will see you managing the day to day operations including staffing (paid & volunteer), financial management, planning, development & events management. 

You will have the ability to develop & maintain relationships with key stakeholders including clubs and organisations, community funders, sponsors, commercial partners & other sporting associations. Working closely with the Board, you will identify strategic opportunities for SCA, develop a plan that will enhance cricket across the region & see more players & supporters than ever before!

With proven success in a leadership/managerial role you will also have:

• Planning & administration skills
• People management experience
• Marketing & communication skills
• Financial management and commercial nous would be a bonus.

As we are a small Association, this is a hands-on role with a huge amount of variety and the opportunity to affect change. 

This role based at Queen’s Park Oval, Invercargill.
