Player Commercial Assistant

Job Description
   
The Professional Cricketers’ Association, the representative body for professional cricketers in England and Wales, is seeking a candidate for the position of Player Commercial Assistant. The role will focus on providing a high level of administrative support to ensure the successful delivery of commercial rights across the Team England Player Partnership (TEPP),  PCA England Masters and PCA Ambassador Programmes.

Duties will include:
 

•     Working with the PCA Ambassador Commercial Manager and relevant departments within the PCA to ensure excellent delivery of all player-related commercial rights.
•     Contacting players and ambassadors when required to confirm availability for commercial appearances.
•     Ensuring all players and ambassadors are fully briefed ahead of each appearance.
•     Managing the logging and invoicing processes for all appearances.
•     Providing logistical support for all appearances, including making hotel reservations and travel plans.
•     Working with the Social Media Executive to ensure all relevant appearances receive coverage across relevant channels.
•     Managing all TEPP and PCA Ambassador databases, including contact lists, squad lists, player access calendars etc.
•     Acting as a key point of contact for the PCA England Masters Manager on all relevant match-day issues, including contracting and invoicing host clubs.
•     Managing the relationship with the PCA England Masters live scoring partner, to ensure all matches are scored and receive adequate coverage.
•     Developing and maintaining a range of PCA England Masters marketing materials.
•     Maintaining the PCA England Masters, Ambassadors and TEPP sections of the PCA website.
•     Ensuring that all individual player sponsorships are logged and forms are submitted for all members of TEPP.
•     Managing the relationship with the Team England mobile phone and car suppliers to ensure the smooth delivery of player benefits.
•     Co-ordinating an outstanding family provision programme for the Team England players’ families.
•     Managing the relationship with the PCA’s memorabilia supplier including co-ordinating team signing sessions and managing all ad-hoc requests for items.
•     Acting as the main point of contact for players on any car, phone, memorabilia and family provision queries.
•     Assisting the PCA Events team with the organisation and delivery of the annual Team England Golf Day and Team England Dinner.
•     Assisting at all PCA Events (some evening and weekend work will be required).
•     Assisting in the delivery of the TEPP entertainment plan by co-ordinating invites and managing guest lists.
•     Managing ECB accreditation for all international match days, ensuring all relevant staff and ambassadors have access.

•     Excellent administrative skills are essential
•     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•     Accuracy and attention to detail
•     Must work well within a team
•     Must possess good customer service ethics and have a ‘can do’ attitude to their work
•     Must possess good knowledge of all Microsoft Office programmes
•     Good time management

Note - Some evening and occasional weekend work may be required to achieve core objectives.
