Cricket Namibia is seeking to recruit a Director of Cricket/ National Coach who will be charged with helping achieve Cricket Namibia’s objective of moving the game forward and ensuring that all National Team’s compete at the highest level.

Cricket Namibia is seeking to employ an outstanding individual with the ambition, commitment and skills capable of succeeding on the global stage and ensuring that the National players fulfil their potential in all formats of the game. In addition to excellent technical skills and knowledge we require an exceptional communicator and motivator who can get the best from players. As per regulations only candidates with a Level Three and above Coaching Qualification will be considered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Cricket/National Coach's responsibilities will be wide ranging and broad and in line with the Cricket Namibia's Strategic Plan for cricket development. These include activities
relating to High Performance; Talent identification and development, The Director of Cricket will play a lead role in the development and execution of Cricket Namibia’s strategy for the improvement of cricket regionally and internationally.

There will be 5key areas of focus:
1.Head Coach of the National Men’s Cricket Team.
2.Development of the Game: the Director of Cricket will be responsible for developing a comprehensive plan and supporting programmes to meet the Cricket Namibia's strategic short, medium and long term objectives for cricket development at all levels.
3.High Performance Management: this will include overseeing the development, implementation and management of Cricket Namibia’s High Performance Strategy in a number of areas including developing the pathways towards Namibia’s Men and Women's teams, sports science programmes, elite coaching programmes and elite training of all age group coaches.
4.Operations Delivery: the Director of Cricket will be required to build strong relationships with the Board of Cricket Namibia, the CEO, selectors, medical staff, operational team members and other stakeholders to ensure effective and smooth operational management.
5.Assist with Strategic and Operational Planning
